Reagan High School Community Dinner to Present Support Plan

This Tuesday night, October 14 Reagan High School will be presenting a community-based plan to support Reagan at a community dinner from 6 to 8:30 pm. School board members, district people, and Reagan alumni Rep. Dawnna Dukes and Rep. Donna Howard, along with community leaders and pastors, will be on hand to hear the plan to keep Reagan from closing.

Students and parents are all encouraged to come. There will be translation for non-English speakers.

What: Reagan Community Dinner to present Community Support Plan
When: Tuesday, October 14, 6 to 8:30 pm
Where: Reagan HS Cafeteria, 7104 Berkman Dr., 78752
Why: To work to keep Reagan open and growing towards academic excellence

There will be dinner, some music from Reagan and the community, a few speeches, and the actual presentation of this exciting plan. Then there will be 30 minutes of breakout groups to discuss, add or comment on the plan. This final round of community comments will then be integrated into the plan.

Lainie Duro, our Operations Manager for our Community Technology Training Centers, has been very involved with these events, as one of Skillpoint Alliance’s computer training centers is based at Reagan High School, and will be attending the event.

If you have any questions, comments or ideas, please feel free to e-mail Allen Weeks of St. John Community School Alliance at aweeks@austin.rr.com or call at 653-4935.
